Hawaii Child Support Information
If you live in the state of Hawaii or the Non-Custodial Parent lives in the state of Hawaii WE CANNOT HELP YOU
We regret to inform you that we are unable to work your case.
The Hawaii Child Support Enforcement Division has made it a policy to not cooperate with Private Child Support Enforcement Agencies making it ineffective for a private agency to try and help custodial parents in Hawaii. There are also requirements now in place requiring a private child support agency to follow a lot of the same guidelines as a collection agency making your unpaid child support no more important than any other unpaid bill.
Only 40% of all Current Child Support was collected by the HI CSE
40% of a total of $521,159,822.00 of arrearages owed in Hawaii was collected by the HI CSE
THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!
If your case is unable to get the attention it deserves, begin taking action. Require someone to review your case, you have that right. Write letters to the judge that handled the case as well as to your state Senators and local Representatives. Make some noise; it is time the local and state governments begin to take the interests of their citizens to heart rather than their own political agendas.
A national association exists to help parent speak out against a government entity taking away your rights as a parent to pursue collection on your terms. We urge you to review their website and become a member.
